Debate in Parliament between Bido and Muçi over the “Koto Hoxhi” school: “You are an oligarch’s child” and “If there are violations, notify the competent authorities”

Today’s parliamentary session was once again marked by clashes, this time between Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido and Together Movement MP Redi Muçi. The debate began after Bido accused Muçi of occupying the yard of the “Koto Hoxhi” school in Gjirokastër.

“Also on the agenda is the draft resolution on the crimes and consequences of communism. To hear Marxist names quoted today is an insult and hypocrisy. These are being mentioned by an oligarch’s child. I invite Muçi to donate the land he has in Arameras to children in need.

If Muçi is sincere and talks to us about education, then at the Koto Hoxhi school in Gjirokastër, he should demand that his family’s building be demolished and that the yard be returned to the school. The school yard has been occupied by you, the ones who speak about education.

Muçi has gone into one of his own texts, when thanks to his family’s help, he could have secured his livelihood as a construction engineer. In his response, Muçi rejected the accusation and said that if illegal construction is found in that area, then the majority should turn to the relevant institutions.

“Bido also mentioned the Koto Hoxhi school, where I was educated and spent my childhood in its yard. If Bido identifies violations at a school in a protected area, they should contact the competent authorities. But they do not, because what we heard is just the latest sauce for the patronage operatives.
