Crisis Management Center reports 16 wildfires, nine of them still active

The Crisis Management Center (QMK) announced that, as of 1 p.m., 16 wildfires had been recorded in Macedonia. Of these, nine remain active, four have been brought under control, and three have been extinguished.

According to the QMK report, active fires have been recorded in the area between the villages of Burinec, Lokovë, Sellcë and Elevci in the Municipality of Struga; near the village of Belicë in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod; and near the village of Bence in the same municipality. A fire has also been reported in the area of the village of Knezino, at the Cërn Kamen site, in the Kërçovë region.

Meanwhile, active fires have been reported near the village of Gajre in the Tetovë region, in the territory of the village of Pallaticë in the Municipality of Zhelinë, near the villages of Peçkovo and Padalishte in the Gostivar region, and near the village of Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dollnen.

Fires near the village of Tajmishte in the Kërçovë region, near the village of Kopanicë in the Municipality of Saraj, at the city landfill in Dellçevë, and near the village of Brest, at the Ramno site, in the Municipality of Çuçer-Sandevë, have been brought under control. /Telegrafi/
