Criminal complaint against two people from Skopje, suspected of “tax evasion”

Kumanovo Police Department has filed a criminal complaint against E.S. (57) from Skopje, as well as against a legal entity headquartered in Skopje, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of “tax evasion.”

According to the complaint, the first suspect, in the capacity of manager and responsible person in the legal entity listed as the second accused, during the period from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2023, recorded in the business books and tax records expenses that were not recognized as tax-deductible, without the necessary documentation, as well as expenses unrelated to the conduct of the business activity.

In this way, he is suspected of unjustifiably reducing the tax base without grounds and submitting tax data that did not correspond to the actual tax situation.
