Contract signed, the R102 road in the Skenderaj area is set for rehabilitation

The contract for the rehabilitation of a segment of the regional road R102, on the Skenderaj – Klinë e Epërme axis, has already been signed. The news was made public by the Minister of Infrastructure, Dimal Basha.

The road in question has long been a source of problems for residents of the area. Through a public announcement, the minister explained that its damage has created continuous obstacles for citizens who use it in their daily lives.

As for the scale of the project, it concerns a road segment of 1.8 kilometers, while the value of the investment amounts to 751,570 euros and 95 cents.

Basha recalled that from the very first days after taking office as minister, he has been faced with this issue, working on its resolution and on putting the rehabilitation project into implementation.

The purpose of this investment, as he clarified, is twofold: raising the level of traffic safety and creating better circulation conditions for residents.

The work on the ground is expected to last 35 calendar days. The minister also promised that the activities will proceed at a steady pace and with high quality, without exceeding the deadline set in the agreement.

“We continue with concrete investments, addressing problems and improving road infrastructure in every municipality of Kosovo,” Basha emphasized.
