The Conference of Chairpersons met today to review the opposition’s request for a motion with debate concerning the scandal involving Vlora Hyseni, the former head of SHISH.

Journalist Ergys Gjençaj, speaking live to News24, said that, according to the opposition, Vlora Hyseni’s arrest demonstrates the degradation of state institutions.
The opposition considers it urgent to hold the motion, with the aim of determining political responsibility for this case.
Gjençaj also announced that the Legislative Council would meet at 11:00 to review, among other matters, the Constitutional Court’s decision of June 1 this year regarding the DP’s request to establish an investigative committee on the May 11 elections.
According to him, the Constitutional Court ruled in favor of the opposition and determined that Parliament must establish the investigative committee.
