Five people have been declared wanted by police following a conflict in Tepelenë at around 01:10 on July 31, 2026, in which three people were injured during a fight involving blunt objects.

Following investigative actions carried out by the investigative team under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, the authorities identified R. Ç., 23, Sh. Ç., 22, A. Ç., 30, A. Ç., 58, and H. Ç., 43, as suspects.
Preliminary investigations have raised suspicions that one of the wanted individuals fired a gun into the air during the conflict.
The injured men are two brothers and their cousin. They sustained injuries from blunt objects and were taken to Gjirokastër Regional Hospital for treatment. According to available information, their lives are not in danger.
Meanwhile, police officers are continuing their search for the five wanted individuals in order to locate and arrest them. The case materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
