Hajrulla Çeku, Minister of Education and Science, met with a delegation from the University of Prishtina Student Parliament to discuss student involvement in drafting the new 2035+ Education Strategy.

Çeku stressed that students should actively participate in public debates and in the development of education policies. Their engagement, he said, helps ensure that the strategy reflects young people’s needs and vision.
The discussion also covered the state of higher education, including financial assistance for students, scholarship schemes, and improvements to study and living conditions.
Representatives of the Student Parliament raised concerns about university infrastructure, dormitory living conditions, and the services provided by the Student Center.
The announcement concluded by saying that the meeting reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ongoing dialogue with students, so that their voices are an integral part of education reforms.
