CEC approves the final results of the June 7 elections

The Central Election Commission met today at 11:00, with the announcement of the final results of the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, held on June 7, on the agenda.

At today’s meeting, the CEC officially announced the final result of this electoral process.

“With 10 votes in favor, the final result of the June 7, 2026 elections is declared,” said CEC chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi after the Commission’s votes were counted.

Radoniqi said that following this decision, candidates have the right to appeal the announcement of the result within 48 hours, a deadline that begins today at 12:00 and ends on Monday at 12:00.

According to the preliminary results, the Vetëvendosje Movement will have 53 deputies. The PDK will have 22 deputies, the LDK 18, while the Alliance will have 7 deputies.

Radoniqi said that the Vetëvendosje Movement, with 47.13%, has won 53 seats, the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 19.44% has won 22 seats, the Democratic League of Kosovo 18 seats, while the Alliance has won 7 seats.

After the CEC announces the final results, procedures for their certification are expected to continue, followed by talks on forming the new institutions.
