Cair Municipality clarifies: Knife incident did not occur in its territory, calls for verified reporting

Cair Municipality has issued a statement to the media regarding the serious incident in which a minor was seriously injured, expressing its deep regret and wishing him a speedy recovery.

The municipality stressed that the incident did not take place within its territory. According to the institution, the full clarification of the circumstances and the investigation fall under the responsibility of the competent institutions.

Emphasizing the sensitivity of the case, particularly because those involved are minors, Cair Municipality called on the media to report carefully and accurately verify the information, including the location of the incident, in order to avoid creating an inaccurate perception among the public.

Minister of Internal Affairs Panche Toshkovski stated that the injured minor is in very serious condition and is fighting for his life.

“One person is currently in very serious health condition and is fighting for his life. This is a minor, while according to the initial information received from the Ministry’s services, the person who committed the criminal act is also a minor. The child who suffered serious bodily injuries and the child who inflicted them are from the same generation, born in 2012,” Toshkovski said.
