Bozhinovska: The reform agenda is at the center of our focus, reforms will be implemented responsibly and transparently

The Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, took part today in a high-level meeting with DG ENEST and the team from the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), as part of the country’s monitoring mission on the status of the WBIF portfolio in the country.

During the meeting, which was also attended by senior representatives of ministries and institutions, the Indicative List of Projects under the Reform Agenda and the Reform and Growth Instrument was discussed, along with projects that are already in the implementation phase and are financially supported through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).

Bozhinovska provided an update on the progress of the activities currently under way and those expected to be undertaken next, stressing that the implementation of the Reform Agenda remains the Government’s highest priority. She added that the Ministry will continue to carry out the reforms in a responsible and transparent manner, in close coordination with institutions and international stakeholders.

The minister also presented the difficulties related to the implementation of the projects, while at the same time outlining concrete solutions for overcoming them.

As part of the Monitoring Mission, a series of meetings will be held, and a field visit is also planned in connection with the project to build a wastewater treatment plant in the city of Skopje.
