BKH announces 40 investigator positions: requirements and application deadline

The National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) has officially opened the procedure for recruiting candidates for 40 investigator positions. Applications will be accepted from the date of publication until September 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., while the required documents must be submitted both electronically and by mail.

According to the call, Albanian citizens who have completed higher education in policing, studies in law, accounting or another university field related to the BKH’s mission are eligible to compete.

Candidates must have more than one year of work experience in law-enforcement institutions or in a sector related to the BKH’s activities. They must also meet requirements concerning integrity, security, assets and background.

The competition for the 40 positions includes cognitive, behavioral and logical-reasoning tests, a physical-ability test, an extended written test and a structured interview.

The polygraph, asset, background and security checks, as well as medical and psychological examinations, are also mandatory parts of the procedure. Although these stages are not scored, candidates must undergo them.
