Berisha: Rama Ignored the Legitimate Demands of Protesters, the First Is His Resignation, He Stole Millions with Balluku

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama’s speech during the meeting of the SP parliamentary group and the government at the Palace of Brigades, describing him as “a two-faced, a cynic and a bankrupt man”.

In a conversation with citizens on social media, Berisha said that Rama completely ignored the demands of the protesters, who have been protesting for two months with five fundamental demands, the main one being “Edi Rama resign,” non-negotiable and irrevocable.

Further, the Democratic leader accused the prime minister of defending former deputy prime minister Belinda Balluku to protect himself and dismissed Rama’s statement that no official has been convicted for corruption in the last 100 years.

“Yesterday, without responsibility, he said that no official has been convicted for corruption in the last 100 years, even though just in the last 30 years, two former socialist prime ministers have served prison time for corruption. But when you have no shame, you do anything and say anything,” Berisha declared.

Berisha: Yesterday, when you heard him at the Presidential Palace, you saw there a two-faced, a cynic and a bankrupt man. A man who de facto completely ignored the legitimate demands of the protesters, which have been going on for two months.

The most fundamental demands are 5 points, the first being “Edi Rama resign,” non-negotiable and irrevocable. There is no more legitimate demand, because Edi Rama is not a legitimate prime minister. Edi Rama has been installed in power through plundered elections, verified by all international reports.

Rama remains in power after stealing hundreds of millions of euros together with Lubi Balluku and he defended her to protect himself. Yesterday, without responsibility, he said that no official has been convicted for corruption in the last 100 years, even though just in the last 30 years, two former socialist prime ministers have served prison time for corruption. But when you have no shame, you do anything and say anything.
