Berisha: Rama has lost his legitimacy; the meetings in Pogradec were merely parties and deception

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted in a statement to the media regarding the meetings held by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to Berisha, the government has turned into an enemy force against citizens, who have been protesting in the streets of Tirana for more than three months.

He said that the protesters are demanding Rama’s resignation because, in his assessment, the prime minister has lost all legitimacy.

Berisha criticized the way government meetings are organized, describing them as parties and claiming that they produce no solutions to the country’s problems.

“The state gluttons can never get enough at a time when people have been protesting in the streets of Tirana for more than three months against a government that has no legitimacy. They are protesting against an enemy government and its positions. Edi Rama has chosen government parties.
