Berisha: Rama Gave Private Land to His Brother at Rrapi i Treshit; He Has Made Using Power to Enrich Relatives a Law

In a conversation with followers, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of turning the use of power to enrich his family members into a “law.”

Berisha accused Rama that, through three decisions, he gave his brother, Olsi Rama, 38,000 square meters of private land in the area of Rrapi i Treshit.

He also raised accusations about the involvement of the prime minister’s family members in tenders and public procedures, mentioning also the Porto Romano project.

“I am not saying there have been no exceptions, but today the use of power to enrich relatives has become law. If you take Edi Rama, he has three nominal decisions for Olsi Rama, with which he gives him 38,000 square meters of land belonging to private individuals at Rrapi i Treshit.

His ‘simple one,’ for whom he sometimes says she is the daughter of the house—and by law she is a daughter of the family; the conflict-of-interest law includes the children of spouses, and it is known that both may have other children—by law she cannot benefit. Berisha also spoke about AKSHI, saying that in reality the “black boss” of the agency is Armand Frangu, while Ermal Beqiri and Ergys Agasi are members of his criminal group.

“Files in the prosecution and outside it show that the real black boss of AKSHI, where at least 600 million euros have been looted, is Armand Frangu, Edi Rama’s brother-in-law, about whom, under the code of Omerta, the mafia code, the media remain silent.

There is no doubt that key members of the criminal group of AKSHI are Ermal Beqiri, Ergys Agasi, and there are others, but the black hand, the black boss, is Armand Frangu and his sister-in-law, Linda of Surrel, who has directed every tender,” Berisha added.
