Berisha: Neither high temperatures nor Rama’s threats stopped the protests, Socialists are burning their membership cards

During his weekly communication with citizens on social media, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha spoke about the civic protest, which has also spread to other cities.

Hailing the protesters’ resistance, Berisha declared that neither the high temperatures nor Rama’s threats had managed to defeat Albanian citizens, despite the extraordinary conditions.

According to him, every passing hour and day shows that Rama has no future. Berisha said that more than anyone else, Rama himself is proving this, as, he stated, he has shut himself away in his bunker and chosen to give speeches and deliver rhetoric that, in many respects, resemble those of the former dictator.

Berisha stressed that he does not consider Socialists criminals, but accused the leadership of the SP, which he described as the former Party of Labour. He added that Socialist members are burning the membership cards of what he called “the party of crime.”

Going on, the Democratic leader declared that while Rama continues with his endless rhetoric, he says not a word about oil, whose price has reached 230 lek.
