Benita Zena after leaving Big Brother: I was wronged, maybe I even deserved to win

Benita Zena has reacted for the first time after the end of her journey on Big Brother, talking about her elimination just before the final and the support she received from the public.

In an interview for the show “Albanian Artists”, asked by host Butrint Pasjaqa why she thought she was eliminated at a moment when she was gaining more and more public sympathy, Benita said she had sensed that such a scenario could happen. She said her exit was not a complete surprise, as during the show she had picked up on some signals from the public’s reactions.

“To be honest, it wasn’t a surprise for me. I expected it up to a point. When I heard the public and when Jonida said Benita or Hygerta, when I felt the Bugatti, I said: I’m gone. When it dragged on, I said for sure an injustice will happen,” she said.

Benita said that although she didn’t reach the final, for her the biggest victory was the love and support she received from the public.

“I won the public’s heart and the final means nothing. Maybe I even deserved to win,” she declared.

During the interview, the former housemate also talked about Klodi and Elijona’s wedding, one of the moments that attracted attention during her stay in the reality show.

According to Benita, in a format like Big Brother emotions, drama and intense moments are a natural part of the game. “When you’re in a reality show, like it or not, you’ve entered to make a show. When people turn on the TV they want to see scenes, drama and interesting moments. Not a single tear was fake. There was a bit of show and a bit of truth,” she said.

Benita said that her Big Brother journey gave her a strong connection with the public, which she considers an important achievement despite not reaching the final.
