Bardh Spahia after Rama cancels press conference: The political show is over; the country needs a resignation

Democratic Party MP Bardh Spahia has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s decision to cancel the emergency press conference.

In a social media post, Spahia said what he called “Rama’s theater” is over and that the only responsibility left for the prime minister is to resign.

In his statement, the Democratic MP said Rama is trying to distance himself from responsibility for tenders, scandals and associates facing justice.

“Once again, the same repulsive scene played out: he appears before the cameras and arrogantly declares that he is not responsible for anyone. Meanwhile, every tender, every scandal and every associate involved in crime bears the stamp and blessing of this government.

How can you lead a regime in which half of the political leadership is facing justice or is in prison, while acting as if you have nothing to do with any of it? When money and concessions are handed out, the credit goes to the ‘supreme leader’; when handcuffs are put on, responsibility immediately becomes individual. This is not governance, but political shamelessness.

No more pathetic speeches, word games or propaganda conferences can conceal the decay of this pyramid.

The period of excuses is over. The only action that can serve the country and pave the way for true justice is immediate resignation.
