The investigation by the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) into the Balluku case is continuing, with reports that brothers Alban and Olsi Eftimi appeared today at the prosecution office.

The summons of the two well-known figures in the fields of architecture and design comes as part of the expansion of the asset and procedural investigations into former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who faces serious charges of passive corruption, money laundering and violation of equality in public tenders.
The Eftimi brothers’ appearance at SPAK is linked to the in-depth checks investigators are conducting into the network of luxury investments, financed projects and hidden assets uncovered through Balluku’s electronic communications.
