ASH seeks clarification on the composition of the Police Secondary School: only 9 Albanians out of 310 admitted

The Alliance for Albanians has expressed concern over the admission results at the “7 Maji” Police Secondary School, questioning the representation of Albanians in this institution.

According to data published by ASH, of the 310 admitted students, only 9 are Albanian, or less than 3 percent. The party also stressed that instruction at the school takes place only in the Macedonian language.

ASH has demanded full transparency about the competition, calling for the number of Albanian candidates who applied, the evaluation criteria and the reasons that led to this result to be made public.

“This is the school where future police personnel are trained, and graduates are guaranteed employment in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For this reason, its current composition will directly affect the composition of the police in the coming years. Bearing in mind also the fact that instruction is conducted only in the Macedonian language, we demand full transparency about the competition, the number of Albanian applicants, the evaluation method and the reasons that led to such a scandalous result,” the Alliance for Albanians said in its reaction.
