Police have released details about the robbery that took place this afternoon at a jewelry store in Paskuqan, in the municipality of Kamëz.

According to the official statement, at around 14:50, two still-unidentified individuals entered the jewelry store owned by a citizen with the initials L. L.

Threatening the female employees with an object that appeared to be a firearm, they took a quantity of jewelry.

They fled toward the Agricultural Institute in an attempt to cover their tracks.

Immediately after receiving the report, police officers arrived at the scene, set up checkpoints and began searches in the area to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the investigative team is working to collect evidence in order to identify the perpetrators, fully establish the circumstances of the incident and document the case.

Kamëz Police statement:

“On 05.08.2026, at around 14:50, in Paskuqan, 2 still-unidentified individuals entered the jewelry store owned by citizen L. L. and, threatening the female employees with an object that appeared to be a firearm, took a quantity of jewelry.

Immediately after receiving the report, police officers went to the scene, set up checkpoints and are conducting searches to apprehend the perpetrators.

The investigative team is working to secure every piece of evidence that will lead to the identification and apprehension of the perpetrators, as well as the full documentation of the case.”
