Arian Tahiri: The sentencing of former KLA leaders constitutes a historic injustice

PDK MP Arian Tahiri reacted to the sentencing of the former KLA leaders, describing it as a historic injustice against Kosovo and Albanians.

According to Tahiri, citizens have the right to express their outrage and disappointment, while opposition to the decision will also continue through the institutions.

He described the decision as scandalous and shameful, stating that the next steps would be taken in cooperation with the citizens of Kosovo, as well as through institutional channels, where, he said, they have a responsibility.

Tahiri called for the unification of the country’s political forces and a joint position by the Assembly of Kosovo on this issue.

“I call on us to unite and stand together. I think we have never had more reasons, in national terms, than we do today. I also expect the political forces in the Assembly of Kosovo to stand united in opposing this injustice,” he declared.

The PDK MP said he was convinced that, regardless of developments, “the people of Kosovo will prevail.”
