An Usurped Property of the Kosovo Agricultural Institute in Stankaj of Rugova Was Returned to Possession

In Stankaj of Rugova, the process of freeing occupied properties administered by the Kosovo Agricultural Institute has continued.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, acting Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Armend Muja stated that every usurped property will be returned to the ministry.

The ministry announced that it is continuing to implement Minister Armend Muja’s decision on the release and return to lawful possession of all occupied properties under the administration of the Kosovo Agricultural Institute, as part of the institutional commitment to protecting public property and strengthening the rule of law.

In this context, during the course of today, the property of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development – the Kosovo Agricultural Institute in Stankaj of Rugova – was freed, in accordance with Mediation Agreement no. ND.nr.430/25, dated 19.12.2025, which was approved by the ruling of the Basic Court in Peja.

According to the ministry, this step represents a continuation of the implementation of Minister Armend Muja’s decision, which stipulates that every property of the Kosovo Agricultural Institute that has been occupied or used without legal basis must be returned to the Ministry’s lawful possession, in accordance with the legislation in force and through regular legal procedures.

The ministry emphasized that it will continue identifying, freeing and protecting all properties under its administration, taking all necessary legal and administrative actions to guarantee responsible management of public assets.

The ministry also called on all unauthorized users of the Kosovo Agricultural Institute’s properties to respect the legal provisions and the decisions of the competent institutions, in order to enable the implementation of the law and the protection of public property.
