Altin Krasniqi, the son of Jakup Krasniqi, has reacted again, one day after the ruling in The Hague sentencing his father to 25 years in prison.

In his response, Altin shared a saying by his father and said that yesterday’s verdict had shattered the family’s faith in justice.
He wrote that a person is stronger than stone, as they can endure even what stone cannot bear, stressing that he now understood just how true his father’s words were.
Altin said that life had been unfair to Jakup Krasniqi, but that he had continued to hold his head high. According to him, even after six years of waiting and pain, the family had never seen him give up.
He stressed that the decision had not broken his father, but had torn something inside the family and destroyed their faith in justice.
Nevertheless, Altin vowed that they would continue to stand firm, just as his father had taught them: with pain in their hearts, but always with their heads held high.
