Alternating clear skies and clouds with rain showers: today’s weather forecast

Today, October 25, 2026, Albania will be affected by the passage of relatively cooler, moist air masses from the north, bringing a change in weather conditions across the country.

According to meteorological forecasts, the weather will feature alternating clear skies and moderate cloud cover, which will be more noticeable in mountainous areas and across the northern and northeastern parts of the country.

In the evening and overnight, cloud cover is expected to increase, bringing the possibility of isolated, short-lived rain showers, mainly in high mountainous areas.

Air temperatures:

Temperatures will fall slightly at both extremes, reflecting the typical autumn decline:

Mountain areas: Minimum temperatures will drop to 5°C–6°C, while maximum temperatures will not exceed 21°C.

Lowland areas: Temperatures will range from 9°C in the morning to 24°C–25°C at midday.

Coastal areas: Temperatures will range from a minimum of 13°C to a maximum of 24°C.

Wind and wave conditions:

Winds will blow mainly from the northeast and northwest at an average speed of 2–7 m/s. Along the coast and in high mountainous areas, winds are expected to pick up at times, with strong gusts.

Sea conditions are forecast to be slight to moderate, at 2 to 3 on the Beaufort scale.
