VIDEO/ Ahmetaj’s allegations/New Ron Yeffet recording: Do not send letters to the Ministry of Energy, I will handle this myself

An audio recording was made public this evening in which Roni Yeffet can be heard speaking with three foreign nationals: a Ukrainian, a Russian and Tatiana, who served as an interpreter during the conversation.

The material was broadcast on the “Çim Peka Live” program on Syri TV and concerns the gas wells in Vlorë. During the conversation, Yeffet insists that the agreement be finalized as soon as possible, while asking Tatiana not to send any official correspondence to the Ministry of Energy, saying that he will deal with the institution himself.

The recording is part of a file lasting more than three hours and was made in January 2026. In it, Roni Yeffet, described as Edi Rama’s Israeli associate, discusses ways in which Albania’s assets could be sold.

Tatiana: We will prepare an official letter for the Ministry of Energy so that we can obtain information about the gas in Vlorë. An official letter.

Roni Yeffet: Why? Why? No, no, there is no need for any official letter. Go to Vlorë and see whatever you want. Then I will deal with them. Do not send any letter or anything else. The information is for us, not for the Ministry.

Tatiana: All right, but what she told us is very important. A site visit alone would not be enough. A physical inspection would not allow the company to understand anything.

Roni Yeffet: When it comes to the Ministry of Energy, rely on me. We will go there and talk to them about every issue. However, do not use my name.

Tatiana: Agreed.

Roni Yeffet: In Vlorë, all right. You will carry out the checks, since you represent an American company.

Tatiana: Agreed.

Roni Yeffet: You will inspect, conduct the necessary checks and ask about everything. They will cooperate. Tell her to come on Monday and stay here. You will go to the Ministry of Energy one, two or three times.

Tatiana: I think she will arrive on Wednesday.

Roni Yeffet: It would be better if she came on Monday and stayed, because no one works here on Wednesday or Friday. This is not efficient; we need to be more efficient.
