After KEK Worker’s Death, Rizvanolli Calls for Investigation and Accountability

Acting Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli has called for a full investigation into the circumstances that led to the tragic death of KEK worker Arbenit Ahmeti.

Rizvanolli expressed her condolences to the Ahmeti family, the deceased’s relatives and colleagues, saying that she had received the news with deep sorrow.

She announced that, in addition to the investigation by the competent authorities, she had asked KEK’s Board and management to urgently conduct an administrative investigation into the case.

According to her, there must be full accountability if the investigations confirm negligence in the workplace or violations of health and safety protocols.

The minister also called on KEK to take emergency measures to reassess worker safety and ensure their rigorous implementation.
