Afrim Gashi congratulates the US on July 4 and highlights the strategic partnership with North Macedonia

Assembly Speaker Afrim Gashi sent congratulations to the American people and the institutions of the United States of America on the occasion of July 4, Independence Day.

In a public message, he expressed his warmest wishes, wishing the people of the US peace, progress and well-being.

“On the occasion of July 4, the Independence Day of the United States of America, I extend my warmest congratulations to the American people and its institutions, wishing them peace, progress and well-being,” Gashi wrote.

Gashi also stressed that the Republic of North Macedonia places high value on its lasting friendship and strategic partnership with the United States of America. He also underlined the importance of American support for the country’s democratic development, Euro-Atlantic integration and stability in the region.

“I am convinced that our cooperation will continue to grow even stronger, in the service of peace, security, prosperity and our shared values,” the Assembly Speaker stressed.

Continuing his message, Gashi once again congratulated the American people with the words: “Happy Independence Day of the United States of America!”
