A serious traffic accident was recorded yesterday at around 8:00 p.m. on the regional Kičevo–Makedonski Brod road, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Macedonia announced. According to a report from the Kičevo Police Department, the collision involved a Mazda driven by D.S. (75) from Kičevo and a Hyundai with Makedonski Brod license plates, driven by A.S. (75) from the village of Preglovë in the Kičevo region.

The Hyundai driver, A.S., succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. His death was confirmed by a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service.
As a result of the accident, the Mazda driver sustained serious injuries. Two passengers in the Hyundai were also injured: a 15-year-old from the village of Preglovë in the Kičevo region and A.A. (21) from the village of Plasnicë in the same region. Their condition was confirmed at the Kičevo Medical Center and at the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje.
The incident was documented through an inspection conducted by a public prosecutor and a team from the Kičevo Department of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
