Abdixhiku meets with the new head of EULEX, rule of law and current developments in focus

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, held a meeting with Antero Lopes, the new head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).

The meeting addressed stability, the rule of law and current developments in Kosovo, as well as the LDK’s positions on these issues. The parties also discussed the need to strengthen the constitutional order, democratic institutions and the rule of law in the country.

According to an LDK statement, Abdixhiku emphasized the importance of close cooperation with international partners and EULEX’s role in supporting Kosovo’s institutions in the areas of the rule of law and security. He expressed the party’s readiness for continued communication and cooperation with EULEX, with the aim of regularly exchanging information and coordinating on issues related to the rule of law, security and the country’s democratic stability.
