Abdixhiku: LDK will not incite citizens against one another after tensions in Parliament

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has reacted to the tensions witnessed in Parliament a day earlier.

Abdixhiku said that his aim is to constitute Parliament and contribute to the election of the president. He stressed that LDK is ready to cooperate with all political parties to move this process forward.

According to him, citizens should not expect LDK to incite clashes among them, as such an approach does not represent the identity of this party.

“I am interested in having Parliament constituted, contributing to the election of the president, and I stand with all political parties to advance this position of LDK. This is how you will have LDK. So, do not expect LDK to come and incite its own citizens against one another. That is not LDK. Let me remind you that we are the Democratic League of Kosovo, not the Democratic Party. LDK is one thing, PDK another,” he said.
