Three people have died and six others have been rescued alive after a building collapsed in India’s capital, New Delhi, authorities said.

Meanwhile, eight people were injured and taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The exact number of people inside the building when it collapsed is still unknown. According to Indian media, more people may be trapped under the rubble.
The incident occurred in southwestern New Delhi, at a hospitality facility consisting of a basement and five floors.
Initial reports indicate that repair work was being carried out in the basement at the time of the collapse.
