A driver has been stopped by police after it was found that he was traveling at 177 kilometers per hour on the Gostivar-Tetovo road, on a section where the permitted speed limit is 80 km/h.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the incident was recorded today at around 18:00, near the Bogovina interchange, where officers from the Mobile Unit for Traffic Safety documented the offense using a special speed control vehicle.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all actions предусмотренные by law have been taken against him and he will face criminal proceedings under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code of North Macedonia.
The ministry also stressed that traffic checks will continue throughout the country, with the aim of increasing road safety and punishing violators.
The authorities appealed to all road users to comply with traffic rules in order to help create safer roads.
