A 46-year-old man identified by the initials S.O. from Aracinovo has been detained by the Skopje Internal Affairs Department after authorities determined that his vehicle was involved in a fatal accident on Radishanska Street.

The incident occurred on August 7 and involved an Alfa Romeo driven by S.B. (47) and a Kawasaki motorcycle ridden by N.M. (19). The 19-year-old motorcyclist from the village of Pobozhje died at the scene from his injuries, while the driver of the Alfa Romeo sustained bodily injuries.
Following an inspection of the accident scene and an analysis of the video footage obtained, police concluded that a Seat Altea with Skopje license plates also played a role in causing the collision, although there was no physical contact between the vehicles.
The Interior Ministry said the driver of the Seat Altea left the scene without assisting the injured. The driver and the vehicle were located at around 19:40 in Aracinovo, after which S.O. was taken to a police station and questioned.
Once the case has been fully documented, the appropriate charges will be filed against the 46-year-old.
