Three of the detained individuals, including activist Dritan Goxhaj, have been released and were greeted with cheers by protesters outside Police Station No. 1. Meanwhile, it is reported that four other citizens are still being held.
According to Goxhaj, those who were escorted to the station had positioned themselves as a security cordon between police officers and protesters, with no intention of clashing with the blue uniforms.

“It is a detention for opposing the State Police. We were a ‘barrier’ between the police and the protesters, that is what we stated. The treatment was normal. We were visited by several MPs, Agron Shehaj and PD deputies.
We demanded the removal of the Ombudsman, Endri Shabani, because he does not represent us. He was chosen by the parliament of crime. The others are in the process of being released,” Goxhaj said.
The third protester who was released also said that they had not intended to clash with the police forces.
