The 109th protest was held outside the Prime Minister’s Office this Wednesday, calling for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.

One of the main issues raised during the rally was The Hague’s ruling convicting the KLA leaders.
One of the protesters said that the ruling could not change the history and truth of the war in Kosovo.
“Greetings to everyone. The flag you see is the symbol of a war for freedom, a war that left thousands dead. More than 20,000 Albanians lost their lives for that flag, and thousands of women were raped. For all those who experienced the war, this is a day of mourning.
Today, the Albanian nation has been betrayed by Europe. This situation takes us back to 1913, when Kosovo was handed over to Serbia. The wounds have been reopened, and this ruling is a stab in the back. It kills for a second time those who sacrificed their lives for our country.
The KLA fought a just war, and Kosovo is free thanks to the men who fought for it. The Hague ruling does not change the truth. Kosovo’s history was not written in The Hague, but in blood on its own soil.
Where are we heading when Rama is trying to strengthen relations with Serbia? You have no right to speak of shame, because you have sided with the traitors,” the protester said.
