Vlora was gripped by extremely high temperatures this Tuesday, with the mercury reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius and prompting a major rush to the coast.

To escape the extreme heat, thousands of local residents and tourists from abroad headed to Vlora’s beaches. Zvërnec Beach was among the destinations attracting the highest number of visitors.

Families, young people and children filled the shoreline from the early hours of the morning, choosing to spend the day by the sea. While children played on the golden sand, holidaymakers sought relief from the high temperatures in the sea.

Although the heat remains intense, a lively atmosphere continues to prevail at Zvërnec Beach. The influx once again shows that during the tourist season, Vlora’s coastline is among the most popular destinations for both domestic holidaymakers and foreign tourists.
