Today, the Tirana Police solved the case and established the circumstances surrounding the double shooting that took place last night in the Laprakë area.

The suspect is 36-year-old Arbër Krrashi, a resident of Tirana, who is suspected of firing a gun at two people, Dashamir Tahiri and Bledar Dauti, at around 9:20 p.m. on September 8. The two men are friends.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred over trivial motives, while after the shooting, the 36-year-old left the scene in a vehicle.

The two injured men are out of danger. Meanwhile, police officers are continuing intensive efforts to locate and arrest A. K., who is suspected of carrying out the shooting.

“Tirana/Within 24 hours, the identity of the perpetrator and the circumstances surrounding the double shooting carried out last night in Laprakë were established.

The suspected perpetrator has been identified, and intensive efforts are under way to arrest him.

As a result of the swift and professional investigative actions carried out by specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with officers from Police Station No. 3, with the aim of clarifying the identity of the perpetrator and the circumstances surrounding the shooting of citizens D. T. and B. D. (friends with each other), at around 9:20 p.m. on 08.09.2026 in Laprakë, the suspected perpetrator, citizen A. K., 36, a resident of Tirana, was identified.

The 36-year-old is suspected of firing a gun at two citizens over trivial motives and leaving in a vehicle.

The injured parties are out of danger.

Intensive efforts are under way to locate and arrest citizen A. K.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.”
