The capital’s police have arrested a 33-year-old man, who is accused of destroying the windows of a bus after an argument with the driver.

The incident was recorded on Tuesday afternoon on the “Muhamet Gjollesha” road segment. According to the blue uniforms, the citizen with the initials Ç. K. became involved in a verbal conflict with the driver, sparked by trivial reasons.

During the clash, the 33-year-old allegedly insulted and lunged shouting at the bus driver before using physical violence against the vehicle.

As a result of the punches, he seriously damaged the front windshield of the bus as well as the side door window.

As soon as they received the alert, officers from the Crime Investigation Section at Police Station No. 2 immediately undertook the necessary investigative and procedural actions, finalizing his capture in flagrante delicto.

The person now faces charges for two criminal offenses: “Destruction of property” and “Disturbing public peace.”

The investigative file has been transferred to the prosecution body for further legal procedures.
