Vigan Qorrolli, a deputy from the Vetëvendosje Movement, said Tuesday’s meeting with the Democratic League of Kosovo could pave the way for a political agreement that would unblock the formation of institutions.

According to him, the LVV expects the LDK, the third-largest parliamentary group with 18 deputies, to enter the talks constructively and with a willingness to compromise.

Qorrolli expressed optimism that tomorrow’s meeting could produce a positive and achievable outcome, leading to an agreement between the two political entities.

He said communication between the two parties was taking place in a calm atmosphere, while the main objective was to establish stable institutions with a full four-year mandate.

“We are operating within the rules of the political game and political consensus. I do not believe there will be any taboo topics. Everything will be discussed. The post of prime minister is uncontested, and Albin Kurti will hold it. Meanwhile, I believe a formula will be found for the other positions במסגרת of a political agreement, under which participation in the government, its composition and then also the position of president will be negotiated,” he said.

Asked about the possibility of the LDK joining the government, the LVV deputy said all issues could be discussed at the negotiating table. The only exception, he said, was the post of prime minister, which was not up for discussion and would be held by Albin Kurti.

Qorrolli said the LVV did not support a second term for the current president, Vjosa Osmani, and preferred a candidate who would have consensus support and be closer to the shared values of the two parties.

“We have made our position on President Osmani clear. The LVV does not prefer her to serve as president again. We want a consensus candidate who could be closer to the values shared by the two political parties. At the moment, there is no agreement on her candidacy, not even within the parliamentary group,” he said.

He added that, based on the information he had, there was no unanimous agreement within the LVV Parliamentary Group on Osmani’s renomination for the presidency.

“I have made it clear several times that I will not be the ‘black cat,’ but as far as I know, there is no agreement within the parliamentary group on her candidacy. Many deputies have said they do not want Osmani as president,” Qorrolli stressed.

The deputy reiterated that the LVV remained convinced that the LDK should show the courage to negotiate on political terms that would secure stable institutions for Kosovo for four years.

Vigan Qorrolli, an LVV member of parliament, commented on the meetings that acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has called with representatives of political entities ahead of the continuation of the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo.

According to Qorrolli, the Democratic Party of Kosovo is in opposition because of the will expressed by the citizens, and not as a result of a decision by the party itself. He made the comments after the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance refused to attend the meeting.

“The people have left it in opposition, while what the PDK deputy chairwoman said reveals the truth behind this letter. During a press conference at the premises of the Assembly of Kosovo, she said they would not participate, while the justification that they are in opposition serves to conceal the fact that they do not want to allow Albin Kurti to govern. Being in opposition is entirely legitimate, but this does not apply when the election of the president requires two-thirds of the deputies and consensus is needed for them to be present in the chamber,” Qorrolli said.

The LVV lawmaker also assessed that, in his view, failure to attend the meeting was an attempt to prevent the establishment of the new institutions.

“Their decision to refuse the meeting constitutes direct sabotage of the establishment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, including the position of president, since no result can be expected when the aim is to establish the institutions,” Qorrolli declared.

Deputeti i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, Vigan Qorrolli, ka deklaruar se takimi i së martës me Lidhjen Demokratike të Kosovës mund të hapë rrugën për një marrëveshje politike që do të zhbllokonte krijimin e institucioneve.

Sipas tij, LVV-ja pret që LDK-ja, si grupi i tretë më i madh parlamentar me 18 deputetë, të hyjë në bisedime me qasje konstruktive dhe me vullnet për kompromis.

Qorrolli u shpreh optimist se takimi i nesërm mund të prodhojë një rezultat pozitiv dhe të realizueshëm, duke çuar në një marrëveshje mes dy subjekteve politike.

Ai bëri të ditur se komunikimi ndërmjet dy partive po zhvillohet në një klimë të qetë, ndërsa synimi kryesor është formimi i institucioneve të qëndrueshme dhe me mandat të plotë katërvjeçar.

“Jemi brenda rregullave të lojës politike dhe të konsensusit politik. Nuk besoj se do të ketë tema tabu. Do të flitet për gjithçka. Institucioni i kryeministrit është i pakontestueshëm dhe ai do të jetë Albin Kurti. Ndërkohë, për pozitat e tjera besoj se do të gjendet një formulë në kuadër të një marrëveshjeje politike, ku do të negociohet pjesëmarrja në qeveri, përbërja e saj dhe më pas edhe pozita e presidentit”, deklaroi ai.

I pyetur për mundësinë që LDK-ja të përfshihet në qeveri, deputeti i LVV-së tha se në tryezën e bisedimeve mund të diskutohen të gjitha çështjet. Përjashtim, sipas tij, bën vetëm posti i kryeministrit, i cili nuk vihet në diskutim dhe do të mbahet nga Albin Kurti.

Qorrolli tha se LVV-ja nuk e mbështet një mandat të dytë për presidenten aktuale, Vjosa Osmani, dhe se preferon një kandidat që do të kishte mbështetje konsensuale e që do të ishte më pranë vlerave të përbashkëta të dy partive.

“Ne e kemi bërë të qartë qëndrimin tonë për presidenten Osmani. LVV nuk preferon që të jetë sërish presidente. Ne duam një emër konsensual, që mund të jetë më afër vlerave që ndajnë dy partitë politike. Për momentin nuk ka dakordim për emrin e saj, madje as brenda grupit parlamentar”, tha ai.

Ai shtoi se, bazuar në informacionet që ka, në Grupin Parlamentar të LVV-së nuk ka pajtim të njëzëshëm për rikandidimin e Osmanit në postin e presidentes.

“E kam bërë të ditur disa herë se nuk bëhem ‘macja e zezë’, por me sa di unë, brenda grupit parlamentar nuk ka pajtueshmëri për kandidaturën e saj. Ka shumë deputetë që kanë thënë se nuk e pëlqejnë Osmanin për presidente”, theksoi Qorrolli.

Deputeti përsëriti se LVV-ja mbetet e bindur se LDK-ja duhet të tregojë guxim për të negociuar mbi baza politike që do t’i siguronin Kosovës institucione stabile për katër vjet.

Newly elected Vetëvendosje Movement MP Vigan Qorrolli has strongly criticized the Democratic Party of Kosovo’s latest stance on the election of the President. According to him, the party’s true motive has now been fully exposed.

Qorrolli stressed that, through its chief spokesperson, PDK has publicly admitted that its boycott of the process to elect the head of state is intended to prevent Prime Minister Albin Kurti from continuing to govern.

He explained that the dispute has nothing to do with the President, nor with the interpretation of the Constitution, but is simply a purely political game serving narrow party interests.

In his full response, Qorrolli said that yesterday, for the first time, the main opposition party openly admitted what had long been known: its refusal to take part in the vote is intended to block the governing mandate. “So, the problem is not the President, democracy or the interests of the state, but solely the hunger for power and fear of the citizens’ judgment,” he wrote.

The LVV MP also accused the party of pursuing an approach that does not constitute opposition, but rather an attempt to undermine the foundations of the state by holding its institutions hostage for electoral purposes. He described the refusal to recognize the will of the people, as expressed in four elections, as unacceptable.

Deputeti i sapozgjedhur i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, Vigan Qorrolli, ka reaguar ashpër ndaj qëndrimeve të fundit të Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës rreth zgjedhjes së Presidentit. Sipas tij, tani është zbuluar krejtësisht motivi i vërtetë i kësaj partie.

Qorrolli theksoi se nëpërmjet zëdhënëses së saj kryesore, PDK ka pranuar publikisht se bojkotimi i procesit të zgjedhjes së kreut të shtetit synon të pengojë vijimin e qeverisjes nga ana e kryeministrit Albin Kurti.

Ai sqaroi se përplasja nuk ka të bëjë me figurën e Presidentit, as me leximin e Kushtetutës, por është thjesht një lojë e pastër politike për interesa të ngushta partiake.

Në reagimin e tij të plotë, Qorrolli deklaroi se dje, për herë të parë, opozita kryesore pranoi hapur atë që dihej prej kohësh: mungesa e pjesëmarrjes në votim shërben për të bllokuar mandatin qeverisës. “Pra, problemi nuk është te Presidenti, as te demokracia e as te interesi shtetëror, por vetëm te uria për pushtet dhe te frika nga gjykimi i qytetarëve”, shkroi ai.

Qorrolli also said that the opposition camp, even after the close of the elections, still does not have a common position.

Sipas tij, pas rezultatit përfundimtar të zgjedhjeve të 7 qershorit, nuk është e drejtë që opozita të dalë me kushte.

“Nëse opozita vendos kushte është e pandershme. Aleanca ka vendosur kushte, LDK gjithashtu përmes Vjosa Osmanit. Me 7 mandate shembull Aleanca nuk mund të vendos kushte për formim të institucioneve. Shpresoj se kësaj radhe do të reflektojnë”, ka deklaruar të enjten Vigan Qorrolli.

Ai ka kujtuar se edhe në legjislaturën e kaluar, kur vendi shkoi në zgjedhje për shkak se nuk u arrit pajtim për zgjedhjen e presidentit, VV-ja ishte treguar e gatshme për bashkëpunim.

“Ne i kemi dhënë LDK-së edhe herën e kaluar hise duke u ofruar zëvendëskryeministër e ministra, por refuzuan. Në legjislaturën e kaluar ne kemi qenë në gjendje që deri në ora 23:55 t’i formojmë institucionet, por që opozita refuzoi. Ne i kemi ofruar opozitës ofertën ‘zgjidh e merr’ duke u treguar tejet kreativ. LDK tashmë i ka bërë 3-4 adresa. Shpresoj se deri në çertifikimin e rezultate të jenë unik në mënyrë që të kemi një qëndrim të tyre në lidhje me qeverinë dhe presidentin. Kosova nuk ka arsye që të humbas më shumë kohë pasi që kemi nevojë për institucione”, ka theksuar ai.

Qorrolli është shprehur gjithashtu se kampi opozitar, edhe pas mbylljes së zgjedhjeve, vazhdon të mos ketë një qëndrim të përbashkët.

“Taborit të opozitës duket se po i’u duhet kohë për reflektim pasi që nuk janë unik”, ka pohuar ndër të tjera Vigal Qorrolli.
