On the new Qafë-Qarri–Ersekë road, a vehicle caught fire and was completely destroyed. The driver managed to get out of the vehicle in time and fortunately was not injured. The flames spread to the other side of the road, where they burned more than 4 hectares of pastureland and low vegetation.

Two fire engines from Kolonjë Municipality arrived in the area, which is also crossed by a high-voltage power line. Their intervention brought the fire under control and prevented the flames from spreading further.
