Democratic Union for Integration (BDI) leader Ali Ahmeti has commented on the Albanian Ministry of Interior’s decision to declare Valon Bela and Bekir Halimi undesirable persons.

During an interview on the program “Click,” Ahmeti said the Albanian authorities would not have acted without concrete evidence.

“I believe that Albania’s security services do not take action without strong evidence. If there are any uncertainties, they should be clarified directly with them, but I am fully convinced that the Albanian state does not unjustly target its citizens,” he stressed.

Kreu i BDI-së, Ali Ahmeti, ka dhënë një deklaratë në lidhje me vendimin e Ministrisë së Punëve të Brendshme të Shqipërisë për t’i konsideruar persona të padëshiruar Valon Belën dhe Bekir Halimin.

Gjatë një interviste në emisionin “Click”, Ahmeti u shpreh se autoritetet shqiptare nuk do të kishin vepruar pa pasur prova konkrete në dorë.

“Unë besoj se shërbimet e sigurisë në Shqipëri nuk marrin masa pa patur argumente të forta. Nëse ka paqartësi, kjo duhet të sqarohet direkt me ta, por kam bindjen e plotë se shteti shqiptar nuk i bie në qafë qytetarëve të tij,” theksoi ai.

Valo Bela has reacted following the announcement that he has been declared “undesirable in Albania.” He raised the question of what message is being conveyed to national memory when a participant in three national wars is declared “persona non grata.”

“This is my reaction after being declared ‘undesirable’ by the government of Edi Ramović, Vučić’s Siamese twin.

The history, sacrifice and contribution of an Albanian cannot be declared ‘non grata’ through an administrative decision. When a fighter who took part in three Albanian national wars is deemed undesirable in the Albanian state, the issue is not limited solely to the person who was declared ‘non grata,’ but also concerns the message being sent to our national memory.

Whenever national ideals were at stake, Albanians never distinguished between those who were ‘inside’ and those living ‘outside’ the state border. People who have made sacrifices for the freedom and dignity of Albanians cannot be judged solely through administrative decisions, particularly when there is no transparency and the public has not been given a clear explanation.

No political mandate lasts forever, and no government stands above the nation. History endures, while governments change. Those making exclusionary decisions today should know that their actions will be judged both by their contemporaries and by future generations, who will determine whether the national interest or short-term interests were defended. This is especially true when a government gravely insults Kosovo, welcomes Vučić with a red carpet, and mistreats and brutally beats its own people for thinking differently.

The worth and dignity of a fighter are not determined by whether they are allowed or barred from entering a country, but by the deeds they have left behind and the respect they have earned among the people. This differs from the current government, which is respected only by child killers. In perfect coordination, Rama and Vučić have placed me on their lists of undesirable persons. That alone speaks volumes,” Bela wrote./Telegrafi/

Valo Bela ka reaguar pas njoftimit se është shpallur “i padëshiruar në Shqipëri”. Ai ngre pyetjen se çfarë mesazhi i përcillet kujtesës kombëtare kur një pjesëtar i tri luftërave kombëtare shpallet “non-grata”.

“Ky është reagimi im pas shpalljes sime ‘i padëshiruar’ nga Qeveria e Edi Ramoviçit, vëllait siamez të Vuçiqit.

Historia, sakrifica dhe kontributi i një shqiptari nuk mund të shpallen ‘non grata’ përmes një vendimi administrativ. Kur një luftëtar i tri luftërave kombëtare shqiptare cilësohet i padëshiruar në shtetin shqiptar, çështja nuk kufizohet vetëm te personi që u shpall ‘non grata’, por edhe te mesazhi që po i dërgohet kujtesës sonë kombëtare.

Sa herë që bëhej fjalë për idealet kombëtare, shqiptarët nuk janë ndarë asnjëherë mes atyre që ndodhen ‘brenda’ dhe atyre që jetojnë ‘jashtë’ kufirit shtetëror. Njerëzit që kanë bërë sakrifica për lirinë dhe dinjitetin e shqiptarëve nuk mund të vlerësohen vetëm nëpërmjet vendimeve administrative, veçanërisht kur nuk ka transparencë dhe mungon një sqarim i qartë për publikun.

Asnjë mandat politik nuk zgjat përgjithmonë dhe asnjë qeveri nuk qëndron mbi kombin. Historia mbetet, ndërsa qeveritë ndërrohen. Ata që marrin sot vendime përjashtuese duhet ta dinë se veprimet e tyre do të vlerësohen si nga bashkëkohësit, ashtu edhe nga brezat e ardhshëm, të cilët do të gjykojnë nëse u mbrojt interesi kombëtar apo interesat e momentit. Kjo vlen sidomos kur një qeveri e fyen rëndë Kosovën, e pret Vuçiqin me tepih të kuq dhe e maltreton e rreh brutalisht popullin e vet që mendon ndryshe.

Vlera dhe dinjiteti i një luftëtari nuk përcaktohen nga lejimi ose ndalimi i hyrjes në një shtet, por nga vepra që ka lënë dhe respekti që ka fituar mes popullit. Kjo ndryshon nga qeveria e tanishme, e cila gëzon respekt vetëm nga foshnjëvrasësit. Pikërisht në sinkron të plotë, Rama dhe Vuçiq më vendosin në listën e personave të padëshiruar.
