Valbon Limani, Mayor of the Municipality of Gostivar, said today that the epidemiological situation in the city has stabilized and is noticeably calmer.

According to him, teams from Skopje have also joined efforts to resolve the drinking water problem, aiming to provide residents with water for drinking and daily needs as soon as possible.

“Meetings of the national and local crisis response teams were held, resulting in these recommendations. The epidemiological situation in the city is much calmer, as is the water supply situation. Gostivar’s Komunalec Public Enterprise has begun cooperating with water supply experts from Skopje, and water will soon be available both for daily use and for drinking,” Limani said.

However, the ban on using drinking water in Gostivar remains in force. Meanwhile, there has been a significant decline in the number of people seeking medical assistance, and no patients have been hospitalized.

Sipas tij, në përpjekjet për zgjidhjen e problemit të ujit të pijshëm janë angazhuar edhe ekipe nga Shkupi, në mënyrë që qytetarëve t’u sigurohet sa më shpejt ujë për pije dhe për nevojat e përditshme.

“U mbajtën mbledhjet e shtabit të krizës në nivel shtetëror dhe të shtabit lokal të krizës, nga të cilat dolën këto rekomandime. Gjendja epidemiologjike në qytet është shumë më e qetë, ashtu si edhe situata me furnizimin me ujë. Ndërmarrja Publike Komunalec e Gostivarit ka nisur bashkëpunimin me ekspertë të ujësjellësit nga Shkupi dhe së shpejti do të ketë ujë si për përdorim të përditshëm, ashtu edhe për pije”, deklaroi Limani.

VMRO-DPMNE underscores that no one should escape responsibility, whether political or institutional, and appeals to the competent bodies to fully investigate the case, without selectivity and without political calculations.

OBRM-PDUKM nënvizon se askush nuk duhet t’i shpëtojë përgjegjësisë, qoftë ajo politike apo institucionale, dhe u bën apel organeve kompetente që ta hetojnë plotësisht rastin, pa selektivitet dhe pa përllogaritje politike.
