A traffic accident resulting in the death of a motorcyclist was recorded today in Kumanovo, at around 12:46, on “Done Bozhinov” Street.

According to a statement from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs, the collision involved a “Seat” car driven by A.A. (64) from Kumanovo, as well as a motorcycle ridden by D.S. (49).

As a result of the injuries sustained, the motorcyclist died at the scene, while a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service confirmed the death.

Authorities are continuing the inspection at the site where the accident occurred.

The ministry explained that one person each was identified in Skopje, Gostivar, Kumanovo, Kavadarci and Prilep for driving without a driver’s license, with the minors being the individuals in Skopje and Gostivar. Meanwhile, at the Deve Bair border crossing, one person was detained after driving a vehicle despite having an active ban. Authorities said that, after the cases are fully documented, the appropriate criminal charges will be filed against them.

According to information released by the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs, the incident was reported this morning at 8:00 to the Negotino Department of Internal Affairs. On the Demir Kapija-Gevgelija motorway, after tunnel T-2, P.Z., a 58-year-old from the Republic of Serbia, while driving a Mercedes truck with a trailer and Serbian license plates, lost control, and the trailer overturned onto the road.

The authorities said the accident caused only material damage. They also announced that an inspection team from the Negotino Department of Internal Affairs went to the scene and carried out the relevant inspection.

During the inspection, traffic moved in only one lane, while normal traffic resumed at 10:50.
