Artist and teacher Arta Ramadani has expressed her grief over the death of 18-year-old Shpejtim Syles, who lost his life in Shengjin.

In her tribute, she recalled the young man’s love for art, the passion with which he worked, and the talent he had shown in painting.

Ramadani writes that the studio will never be the same without Shpejtim, while his friends are experiencing this loss through tears.

She describes him as a young man who loved art with all his heart and created with dedication, emphasizing that he taught her to believe even more in her students.

Recalling the conversations they had about painting, the teacher also shared his words: “For me, this painting is finished, but you decide, teacher!”

“Farewell, artist! You took all the colors of life with you… It is so difficult to write about you.

The studio will be different without your presence. Your studio friends are in tears over your loss.

The young man who displayed his knowledge, who loved art with all his heart and created with so much passion. You taught us what it means to work with heart and to love life through art.

Shpejtim, you taught me to believe even more in my students. We always talked about painting. Your words still echo in my mind when you told me: ‘For me, this painting is finished, but you decide, teacher!’

We learned a lot together. Good teacher—that title was given to me by you!

Condolences to Shpejtim’s family, the professors and teachers who worked with him, his friends, and everyone who loved the city’s finest young man so dearly.
