Confirmation of the case was given by Enis Pllana, police spokesperson for the Prishtina region.

According to him, immediately after the report was received, the Kosovo Police undertook all necessary actions to ensure safety in that area, while citizens were evacuated from a designated perimeter.

The relevant police units have been deployed at the scene and are dealing with the handling and verification of the information.

According to Kosovo Police, the report about the case was received at around 18:00.

Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, said the responsible units handled the case and that, after the checks carried out, no device or suspicious element was found.

“The information was handled by the police. After the checks carried out by the competent units, nothing suspicious was found. Police investigators, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have begun work to clarify all the circumstances related to this case, which has been classified as a false report,” she said.
