]]> SPB Tetovo announced that yesterday (24.06.2026), at 15:15, at a building under construction on “Todor Cipovski Merxhan” Street in Tetovo, police officers deprived 12 citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria, aged 34 to 66, of their liberty while they were working at the site.

According to police, the individuals were found to be staying irregularly and without having reported their presence in this area.

They were taken to the Tetovo Police Station for further proceedings, and the appropriate charges will be filed against them under the Law on Foreigners, SPB said.

]]> A house in the village of Trebosh in Tetovo was engulfed by fire, SPB Tetovo said.

According to the announcement, on 22.06.2026, at 17:05, SPB Tetovo was notified that a fire had broken out in a house in this village, owned by A.S. (46).

As stated, no one was injured, while the flames were brought under control by the team of the Tetovo Territorial Firefighting Unit.

SPB Tetovo also said that the scene investigation was carried out by the DP Grupçin team.

]]> SPB Tetovo announced that on 21.06.2026, at 18:30, in the village of Lower Banjica in Gostivar, police officers from the Road Traffic Safety Department in Gostivar deprived three people of their liberty after they were driving vehicles without a driving license.

According to the statement, they are E.I. (26) from Gostivar, who was riding a moped with Skopje license plates, as well as R.S. (25) from Tetovo and Xh.U. (25) from Gostivar, who were riding motorcycles without license plates.

SPB Tetovo said that all three individuals were detained, their vehicles were seized, and the appropriate criminal complaint will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code.
