The first snowfall has been recorded in the high mountainous areas of Tropojë, in Kukës County. During the morning hours, snow covered parts of the Tropoja Mountains, while temperatures in the high-altitude areas fell.

Images from the Markofçë area, published on social media by Tropojë Mayor Rexhë Byberi, show the mountains and trees covered in snow.

Meanwhile, drivers traveling toward the high mountainous areas are advised to exercise caution because of the weather conditions and changing temperatures.
