Kosovo’s caretaker Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has announced that he met with Shasime Osmani, who was recently elected to the Bern Cantonal Parliament in Switzerland.

During their discussion, particular attention was paid to education and the dual education system, which is also being implemented in Kosovo. Kurti and Osmani also discussed equality and increasing the role of women in politics.

Kurti described Osmani as an important voice in support of education and social justice. They also discussed further strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and Switzerland.

According to Kurti, the Kosovar diaspora in Switzerland, as well as in other countries, is becoming increasingly involved in public institutions and decision-making processes.

Kryeministri në detyrë i Kosovës, Albin Kurti, ka bërë të ditur se është takuar me Shasime Osmanin, e cila së fundmi është zgjedhur deputete në Parlamentin Kantonal të Bernës, në Zvicër.

Gjatë bisedës, vëmendje e veçantë iu kushtua arsimit dhe sistemit dual të edukimit, i cili po zbatohet edhe në Kosovë. Kurti dhe Osmani diskutuan gjithashtu për barazinë dhe rritjen e rolit të grave në politikë.

Kurti e cilësoi Osmanin si një zë të rëndësishëm në mbështetje të edukimit dhe drejtësisë sociale. Në takim u fol edhe për forcimin e mëtejshëm të bashkëpunimit mes Kosovës dhe Zvicrës.

Sipas Kurtit, mërgata kosovare në Zvicër, por edhe në shtete të tjera, po përfshihet gjithnjë e më shumë në institucionet publike dhe në proceset e vendimmarrjes.
