Trains on the Pristina–Peja line resumed service around midday after operations were temporarily suspended following today’s tragic incident, in which a woman died after being struck by a train.

The news was announced by Trainkos spokesperson Behxhet Haziri.

Haziri explained that service had been suspended because of the serious incident to allow the train driver to be questioned and other necessary procedures to be completed.

According to him, once these steps had been completed, the midday service continued as normal.
