A serious accident was recorded today in the village of Shalës, in Cërrik. According to preliminary information, a student of the 9-year school in the area was struck by a motorcycle and left seriously injured.

The motorcycle driver is suspected of speeding at the moment he hit the 14-year-old.

He was transported immediately to receive the necessary medical care, while the Police have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and to determine the causes and responsibilities.
